Executive, Legislative and Judiciary Senior Officials Not Allowed to Rename their Property Ownership before Announcement to the Judiciary

A member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly in Hamedan announced:  290 parliament representatives and 250000 executive and judiciary senior officials are obliged by law to register and declare their assets, properties and real estate to the public. Some of them have been found to be renaming their property and real estate ownership before the announcement to the juduciary. The authorities' property registeration was originally seen in the constitution, but due to some shortcomings, the parliament examined, reformed and evolved the law so that transparency could be improved and the confidence of the public could be strengthened.

He said that  some MPs demanded the parliament to set up an office for the facilitation of investigating and reviewing MPs' assets, properties and real estate. To do so, MPs are expected to follow the registeration procedures for their financial assets and properties.

He further added that the security agencies and the judiciary ought to verify the high rank officials' transactions and transference of their immovable and movable properties. If someone were found in the open violation of the law, they would be questioned and await the court trial on corruption charges.
