Tehran, May 18, IRNA – Slovenian Ambassador to Tehran Christina Radi said Iran and Slovenia have reinforced cooperation in beekeeping industry focusing on technical training, health and exchanging knowledge.
In a message on the occasion of the World Bee Day, Radi expressed hope for improving the situation for implementing projects.
She expressed Slovenia tendency for providing technical support for Iran beekeepers and to follow up their cooperation with the international community.
He hailed Iranian beekeepers’ progress and referred to signing MoU between two countries in the field of beekeeping.
World Bee Day is celebrated on May 20. On this day Anton Janša, the pioneer of beekeeping, was born in 1734. The purpose of the international day is to acknowledge the role of bees and other pollinators for the ecosystem.
