Damascus, May 26, IRNA – Syria’s Minister of Information Imad Abullah Sarah said on Wednesday that his country was ready to cooperation with Iranian media, particularly with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
Sarah emphasized the necessity of further cooperation between Syrian media and IRNA and implementation of agreements, especially the agreement signed by Iran's IRNA and Syria’s SANA.
Hosting an Iranian media delegation, including editor of Arabic IRNA, Sarah said that he was ready to remove any obstacle in this regard.
He underlined that the ties between Syrian and Iranian people are strong and unbreakable, highlighting the cooperation between two countries in the fight against terrorism.
The second presidential election in Syria since the war began in 2011 is being held today. Syrian President Bashar al-Asad and two other nominees race for presidency in this election.
