Tehran, May 31, IRNA – Iranian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Hashem Ashjazadeh and Child Development, Pre-schools and Primary Education, School Infrastructure and School Services State Minister Piyal Nishantha De Silva met and conferred in Colombo on mutual cooperation between the two countries.
Sri Lanakan Daily News newspaper published the news on Monday.
Accordingly, State Minister Piyal Nishantha de Silva had the discussion to strengthen the long-lasting and historical relationship Sri Lanka has with Iran, with regard to investment, tourism promotion, and education.
The Iranian Ambassador to Sri Lanka for his part in the meeting, expressed informed the State Minister that steps will be taken to uplift and promote tourism and investments in Sri Lanka.
