Tehran, June 1, IRNA - The spokesman for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Kianoush Jahanpour said the second and the third phases of clinical trial for Iranian-Australian vaccine 'SpikoGen' will be carried out inside Iran.
The second phase of SpikoGen clinical trial started, Jahanpour wrote in his Twitter account on Tuesday.
He added that the first phase were done in Australia.
During the second phase, the vaccine will be injected to 400 candidates, he added.
An Iranian pharmaceutical company is to produce the vaccine jointly with an Australian firm.
