Tehran, June 2, IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is to address the Iranian nation in a live speech on the 32nd anniversary of the sad demise of the late Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Ayatollah Khamenei’s speech will be broadcast live at 11:00 local time on Friday via various TV channels, and his official pages on social media.
Imam Khomeini, who steered the popular uprising in Iran culminating in the fall of former regime of Shah, passed away on June 3, 1989.
He is known as one of the most influential leaders who inspired many other revolutions all across the world.
