Kabul - IRNA – Iranian President-elect Ebrahim Raisi in a phone call with President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani stressed reinforcing cooperation between the two countries.
Raisi appreciated Ghani's congratulations message and reiterated developing relations with Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, Ghani congratulated Raisi victory in Iran's 13th president election and wished him success.
He described Iran and Afghanistan as neighbors and brothers and hoped for new president term to result in promoting all-out ties.
Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raisi was announced on Saturday as the winner of the June 18 presidential election in Iran, scoring 17,926,345 of votes.
