Zionists resorting to failed alliance-building policy to get concessions

Ambassador and Chargé d’affaires ad interim of the Permanent Mission of Iran to the UN Zahra Ershadi firmly rejected unsubstantiated allegations made by the US and UK against Iran regarding Mercer Street vessel incident.

Mercer Street is an Israeli-managed oil tanker that was attacked off Fujairah Port in United Arab Emirates on August 3, 2021.

Although the Iranian authorities see such threats by the Western and Zionist officials as propaganda campaigns, the Iranians have warned that any foolish provocation will be responded seriously and harshly, and that the American and the British officials will be held responsible for the consequences.

The exchange of threats between Iranian and Zionist officials has reached to its peak in recent days and the incident has turned into top news of regional and international media; so, the world is watching what will happen if the Zionist regime carries out threats and what will be the Iranians' reaction, because they have emphasized time and again that they are ready to firmly respond.

Aside from the fake allegation of Iran's hand behind the incident, the questions are that whether Israel has the capability to create a collective response to the Islamic Republic or not, and that whether the regime is able to unite an alliance or it just wants to get hold of concessions amid nuclear talks when a change of power is underway in Tehran.

Media hype of the Zionist-Western states was propagating that they will attack Iran the day after the incident, but Iran's firm strategy pushed them back and now they want to put pressure on Tehran through the UN Security Council in a bid to force the new Iranian administration to return to the negotiating table in Vienna, Austria, and give more concessions that the Western powers desire.

Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement has fired a few rockets into the occupied territories of Palestine with the aim of showing the Zionist regime that if they conduct any foolish act against the Islamic Republic of Iran, they will face rocket attacks from the resistance side.

Therefore, it is not irrelevant to say that the military scenario of the Zionist regime against Iran will bear no fruit for the regime. Two weeks after the maritime incident, it is obvious that the international alliance against Tehran has not been formed and it shows the Zionists' accusations were unfounded.
