Iran has experienced a five-fold growth in equipping electronics industries compared with the last year (ending on March 20), Brigadier Shahrokh Shahram said in a TV program on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion of National Defense Industry Day of Iran on August 22, General Shahram said Iran electronics industries have special mission to face cyber attacks and wars.
Elaborating on national achievements in the area of defense industry, the general said Iran indigenously manufactures electronic equipment.
Electronic industries are the base for all defense systems in the world, so they should be kept up-to-dated, the official noted.
