The Kuwaiti foreign minister in his phone call meanwhile asked for the further improvement of comprehensive bilateral ties with Iran and ever increasing cooperation in resolving regional cresses.
Al-Muhammad al-Sabah also asked Amir Abdollahian to convey the warm congratulations of Emir of Kuwait to the other high ranking Iranian officials.
Amir Abdollahian, too, while appreciating his Kuwaiti counterpart for his congratulation phone call and stressing the significance of friendly neighboring ties, announced that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers no limits for expansion of cooperation with the southern neighbors of the Persian Gulf, while attaching special importance to bilateral ties with Kuwait.
The Iranian Parliament members in their Wednesday evening open session during their voting to President Ebrahim Raisi’s cabinet ministers approved of his choice for the Foreign Ministry, Hossein Amir Abdollahian with 270 positive, 10 negative and 6 neutral votes.
