Epidemiologist Dr. Ehsan Mostafavi told IRNA on Tuesday that all the people who have received two shots of any type of COVID-19 vaccine, whether Sinopharm, AstraZeneca or Sputnik, can take a PastoCovac Plus jab as the booster dose.
Dr. Mostafavi said that PastoCovac Plus has been authorized to be administered to people over 12.
The vaccine has passed clinical test for children from 2 to 18 in Cuba and it is administered to children aged 12 to 18 in Iran, according to the doctor who added that younger children would be authorized to receive PastoCovac in the future.
